Salcombe Maritime Museum, in Market Street, is seeking new volunteers to help run the museum which, in 2024, will be open every day between March 28th and October 31st from 10.30 and 12.30 in the morning and 2.30 and 4.30 in the afternoon.

Join our team of volunteers!

In order to keep these hours more stewards are needed for the two-hour shifts. Most volunteers commit to between two and four shifts a month. Training is given and the only requirement for anyone wishing to join the team is an interest in local history and a welcoming approach to our visitors.

If you are interested in helping please contact Roger Barrett, the Curator, he would be delighted to show you around.
